Plumeria Hair Oil

Inspired by a trip to Hawaii back in February, I stumbled on a fresh plumeria blossom that had dropped in my path on the way to the beach. Being the flower girl at heart; I picked it up and almost fell to my knees at the intoxicatingly soft, feminine and romantic scent of its dew kissed petals. I pretty much had the blossom pressed against my face for the remainder of the day. Its subtle essence  immediately transported me to a dreamlike state of zen. Perhaps it was a combination of Hawaiian air, an ocean breeze and being on vacation. Whatever the reasons, what I did know is that I HAD to bottle that beauty and enable you to experience it!

Plumeria is a flower associated with beauty, grace and positivity. Once you experience its euphoric scent, you get it. In Hawaiian  traditions, this beautiful flower is used in celebrations for weddings, special guests, graduations etc as a token of excitement, good fortune and gratitude. In honor of the Plumeria; I have formulated a hair oil to celebrate and nourish our locks and scalp with pure beauty. It smells so divine that Im afraid you might just walk into walls and trees as it puts you into a trance with each waft! 

BENEFITS of PLUMERIA:The Aromatherapy qualities open wi then is a sense of serenity, calm and elation. The infusion of Plumeria offers phytonutrients to strengthen and hydrate hair strands and calm a dry, irritated scalp. It is gentle enough to be used as a body oil as well.

SCENT PROFILE: Plumeria blossoms carry similar notes as lilac, jasmine and magnolia. Soft, clean and floral NOT sticky sweet or powder puff like we often detect in synthetic scents. 

INGREDIENTS: 100% Organic

Jojoba Oil, Apricot kernel oil (Morocco), Essential oils of Plumeria (Hawaii), Jasmine (Morocco) and Magnolia (Hawaii)

INSTRUCTIONS: Apply to damp or dry hair to hydrate ends or entire length of hair. A little goes a long way when using to hydrate or tame frizz. If your scalp needs calming or moisturizing, apply directly to dry areas of the scalp. It’s best to do the scalp treatment before bed to allow the nutrients to penetrate and work their magic while you sleep.
