Pumpkin Spice Up Your Latte

'Tis the Season

of cool morning frost, golden leaves crunching under our feet, and pumpkin spice everything.  While some believe society takes the pumpkin spice season a little too far (ahem, Trader Joe's), we embrace the heck out of it.  Not only are spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and allspice heart-warming and delicious, they are liver supportive and antioxidant rich. These cozy spices help balance skin tone and hormones which contributes to clear skin. The high counts of antioxidants in pumpkin spices (cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg) protect our skin cells from sun damage (reducing sun spots) and the heavy hitter spice, cinnamon is a natural anti inflammatory! Cardamom is one of my favorite skin spices because it's packed with anti inflammatory & anti bacterial compounds to keep you glo-ing on the reg!

Save yourself some sugar and make your own pumpkin spice 'latte' with this quick and easy recipe:


Ingredient: Benefit:

 1 serving Four Sigmatic  Mushroom Coffee

Immune boosting, cognitive enhancing properties, cancer fighting
1 dash of ground cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, allspice Liver supportive, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant rich, anti bacterial 
1 serving Great Lakes Collagen Promotes healthy joints, bones and digestion, boosts collagen for juicy skin (and makes your drink extra frothy!)
1 tbsp coconut oil Aids in nutrient absorption, brain healthy fats, boosts metabolism!


Blend all ingredients on HIGH for 30 seconds for a frothy, foamy drink!  Top with a pinch of cinnamon or cinnamon stick.
